Applicability 
These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with Kisten & Zo.
By placing an order, the customer agrees to the general terms and conditions of Kisten & Zo. 

General 
Everything made by Kisten & Zo is handcrafted with great care and attention.
Irregularities and imperfections emphasize the authenticity of handmade products.
When recreating a birth card, we strive to match the colors as closely as possible. Therefore, it is necessary to send the card to Kisten & Zo.
Color, shape, and design may sometimes differ slightly from the original. No rights can be derived from such variations.
Returns based on slight color differences will not be accepted.
Whether photos or highly detailed illustrations can be painted is determined in consultation.
The original card will be returned with your order. 

Order 
An order is considered confirmed once the customer has received an order confirmation.
All product descriptions, images, and information are displayed as accurately as possible. However, minor differences in size and color may occur.
In cases not explicitly covered by these terms, Kisten & Zo will seek a fair and reasonable solution.
Kisten & Zo reserves the right to refuse orders at any time.
Once your order is ready, you will be contacted to arrange pick-up or shipping. 

Order Cancellation 
Customized orders are created according to the customer’s specifications and are therefore personal.
As a result, they cannot be returned or cancelled during or after production. 

Prices 
All prices listed by Kisten & Zo are non-binding and subject to availability.
All prices are stated in euros and exclude shipping costs.
Prices on the website are subject to change at any time, for any reason.
Prices are indicative and may vary depending on custom requests or special requirements. 

Shipping (TNT Netherlands) 
Once your order is ready, you will receive an email with the expected shipping date.
Chests are shipped via TNT Post and can be tracked using Track & Trace.
Kisten & Zo is not liable for loss or damage after the package has been handed over to TNT.

Shipping costs within the Netherlands (up to 10 kg): €7.65
Shipping within Europe: €19.75
Shipping outside Europe: available upon request.

All shipments are at the customer’s own risk.
Kisten & Zo is not responsible for loss and/or damage during shipping.
If desired, items can be shipped with insurance. The additional shipping costs are at the buyer’s expense. 

Payment 
All orders must be paid in advance. This means that the order is only confirmed once both the payment and the card have been received.
You will receive a confirmation email, after which the delivery timeline becomes valid.
After placing your order via email, it will be reserved for a period of 2 days. If payment and the card are not received within that time, the production schedule may be delayed due to other incoming orders.

Delivery 
The delivery time will be discussed with you and depends on the nature of the order and the current workload.
Kisten & Zo is not a webshop with instant delivery. 

Products 
Kisten & Zo does its best to display all products as clearly and accurately as possible.
Due to differences in screen settings and photography, actual colors may vary slightly. This cannot be prevented. 

Exchanges & Returns 
Since all products are made to order, it is not possible to exchange or return items. 

Complaints 
We kindly ask you to check the received products as soon as possible.
If you have a complaint, please contact Kisten & Zo so we can find a suitable solution as quickly as possible. 

Liability 
Kisten & Zo cannot be held liable for any damage—physical, material, or immaterial—resulting from faulty operation or incorrect use of the ordered products. 

Publication 
Photos are taken of each product and added to our portfolio.
Kisten & Zo reserves the right to use its products for publicity, promotion, and social media at any time.
If you object to this, please inform us, and your product will not be published. 

Privacy Policy 
Your personal data will be treated with strict confidentiality.
They will only be used by Kisten & Zo for processing orders and will never be shared with third parties.
Your personal data may be included in the Kisten & Zo customer database.

Publishers of birth cards hold intellectual property rights. This means that copying, reproducing, or distributing their materials by printing, copying, or other means is not allowed without written permission from the publisher/designer.
Any resulting fines will be passed on to the customer who placed the order. 

Right to Amend 
Kisten & Zo reserves the right to make changes or additions to these General Terms and Conditions at any time.
